As the IT Service Desk Manager, you’ll take on a hands-on leadership role supporting the company’s expanding infrastructure and cybersecurity operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily IT operations to ensure optimal performance, protection, and availability of systems, networks, and data. Lead, mentor, and manage IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity teams. Maintain and improve security posture through policy enforcement, staff training, and proactive measures. Prepare technical documentation, user guidelines, and standardized processes. Manage IT inventory, including laptops, phones, and hardware orders for global users. Monitor and optimize service desk performance and implement automation for efficiency. Enforce endpoint compliance and policy enforcement via Microsoft Intune. Evaluate, manage, and negotiate vendor relationships and third-party support. Maintain compliance with security policies using Microsoft Defender and other modern tools. Lead the budgeting process and manage financial planning for IT operations. Stay current on cybersecurity trends and technologies to proactively safeguard systems. Support software licensing and vendor renewals. Key Technologies & Tools: Windows Server, Windows Operating Systems, PowerShell Ticketing and remote support tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira) Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM practices Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience 7–10+ years of experience in IT, with prior management or team lead experience Experience in multi-site IT support environments (NOC/SOC experience a plus) Deep troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, software, and networks Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (certifications a plus) General familiarity with MS SQL, ERP systems, and programming concepts Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Valid driver’s license Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder Must be able to work onsite in Salt Lake City, UT 401(k) + matching Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Health savings account Employee assistance program Paid time off Referral and retirement programs Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts Onsite only –
