Reporting to the Americas CIO, this role is crucial in shaping the digital future of our banking services while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation and collaborates closely with the US CIO and CTO to drive technological innovation and operational excellence.
As our US IWPB Chief Information Officer you will:
Provide strategic leadership for a 75+ member technology organization across US and Mexico
Drive digital transformation while maintaining strict operational excellence (99.98% availability)
Manage $12.1M+ annual technology budget with focus on ROI and cost optimization
Lead cloud transformation strategy and application modernization initiatives
Ensure robust risk management, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance
Foster innovation while maintaining strong controls and governance
Build and maintain C-level relationships across business units
Drive talent development and high-performance culture
Oversee critical vendor relationships and third-party partnerships
Foster a culture of clear, timely, and transparent communication across all levels
Exercise autonomous decision-making while maintaining collaborative alignment
Actively contribute to and enhance our teamwork-oriented culture not only in the US, but across countries

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $194,800 and $292,100.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
