The Associate Software Engineer will participate in the Engineering Development Program, contributing to software innovation and collaborating with experienced teams to design and develop cloud-based software solutions. Responsibilities: Learn and build highly scalable multi-tenant cloud software Work with seasoned Product and Engineering leaders in small teams Contribute to technical and functional design discussions Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle Qualifications: Required: Located near Boston, MA, and able to work in the office 4 days/week Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design) Desire to work in enterprise software Proficient in Java Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics with a 3.3 GPA or higher Alternatively, equivalent skills gained through work experience or disciplined self-study Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided Willing to work in the office 4 days/week for the first two years Preferred: Working knowledge of relational databases Relevant internship or project experience Company: Veeva Systems Inc. is a leader in cloud-based software for the global life sciences industry, founded in 2007, headquartered in Pleasanton, California, with 5001-10000 employees.
