entry-level Staff Engineer

Lisle, IL

In this role

you
will
spend time working
both
in the field and in the offic
e

Investigating
damaged buildings,
assessing
structural conditions, and
design
ing
repair solutions
.
You'll
work alongside licensed engineers and architects, contribute to technical reports, and use tools like
AutoCAD and Revit

Responsibilities
What you will do: Join senior engineers on forensic investigations
to figure out how and why structures like buildings or bridges experience damage or deterioration Help design solutions
to repair or restore real-world structures made of wood, masonry, concrete, and steel Contribute to technical reports
that document your findings and support project decisions Use AutoCAD and/or Revit
to create digital drawings and 3D models that bring design ideas to life Other tasks as needed to support the team
Qualifications
Qualifications: Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a
Bachelor's degree in Civil
or Structural Engineering
from an accredited program (other degrees may be considered with relevant experience) Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
is preferred FE Certification (E.I.T.) or working towards it is preferred A valid driver's license and a reliable person vehicle for transportation
to and from the office or project sites Strong work ethic and a growth mindset

eager to learn, try new things, and take initiative Ability/willingness to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and scaffolding, work from heights, walk roofs, access crawl spaces and other areas of limited accessibility
