In this role, you’ll work closely with the Compliance Engineers. You will assist with product preparation and testing, interface with regulatory bodies to plan and execute product and component certifications, support the development and realization of automated test systems, and manage test assets. You will install and set up test samples and infrastructure (equipment). You’ll be required to work on ELV, LV, and HV systems within the Tesla Laboratory and external testing facilities. Maintain ISO 17025 QMS accreditation, and ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory, including purchasing consumables, equipment, and services such as calibration management. A high degree of integrity and ethics are required for this regulatory role. What You'll Do

Prepare and instrument test samples, execute tests, record, and analyze results on power electronics and battery storage systems Assist with testing at in-house and local contract laboratories Support debugging of products and sub-systems Support the build and testing of automated test equipment and peripherals Rework prototypes and printed circuit board assemblies Carry out duties as defined by the engineers What You'll Bring

Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in an engineering development environment, with NEC NFPA 70 experience, in a lab environment Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, High Voltage/Power Electronics experience Soldering, electronics fabrication/prototyping, mechanical fabrication/prototyping skills, and wire harness skills Experience with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills Multi-tasking and self-prioritization abilities Preferred: 3D CAD skills, schematic capture Benefits
