Duties: Handle complex litigation matters from the initial stages through trial preparation and execution. Conduct legal research and draft high-quality legal documents, including briefs, motions, and discovery responses. Manage and oversee depositions, including expert depositions, in preparation for trial. Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on various litigation matters. Collaborate with senior partners and other team members to develop litigation strategies. Participate in settlement negotiations and case resolution when appropriate. Take ownership of case files, ensuring timely progression and efficient management of all aspects of litigation. Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of recent litigation experience. Must be licensed to practice law in California. Strong experience in insurance defense, casualty litigation, and/or commercial disputes preferred. Trial experience is a plus but not required. Must be able to handle depositions, including expert depositions. Superb legal writing, research, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex cases independently. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with senior partners. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active California State Bar License. Skills: Excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience handling complex litigation matters. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
