EXS/7 Target hiring range for this position will be between $62,000-$78,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data. Job Summary:
Manages all activities associated with biomedical &/or social-behavioral research studies considered very complex, involving multiple investigators, teams, sites, sub-contracts, participants, longitudinal assessments/interventions, and/or multi-million dollar budgets. Ensures completion of contract requirements & client specifications. Oversees day-to-day operations including resource identification & securing, creating, implementing, monitoring, & updating project plans, facilitating meetings, tracking tasks/deliverables, and resolving issues. May co-author scientific papers and coordinate grant writing and submissions. Ensures all study activities comply with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), local, state, & federal laws, regulations, and policies from NU IRB, FDA, & ICH. Specific Responsibilities: Technical:
Develops and implements protocols; oversees study activities; collaborates with nursing staff and PI on participant eligibility, consent, and treatment schedules; monitors adverse events; recommends protocol revisions. Administrative:
Acts as liaison with sponsors and research institutions; ensures regulatory documentation compliance. Data:
Manages data collection, analysis, and reporting; collaborates on reports. Finance:
Manages budgets, monitors expenses, negotiates with vendors, and invoices sponsors. Supervision:
Mentors junior coordinators. Miscellaneous:
Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social/health sciences or related field, or equivalent experience with 5 years of research experience; OR Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience. Supervisory or project management experience required. Completion of NU's IRB CITI training before interacting with participants, recertification every 3 years. Benefits:
