Overview: A Document Control Coordinator isresponsible for ensuring the integrity and compliance of documentation related to Food Safety and Quality Systems within the organization.This includes implementing and maintaining document control processes, managing records, and ensuring all documentation is current and properly identified.The role involves working closely with Quality Management and other teams to maintain accurate and accessible documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Management: Implement and maintain document control processes for Food Safety and Quality Systems, including HACCP, GMPs, and Sanitation. Record Keeping: Manage document control files, logs, records, and hard copy manuals, ensuring accurate maintenance. Compliance: Ensure all documentation adheres to relevant regulations and standards, such as 21 CFR 820 & ISO 13485. Coordination: Work with Quality Management, suppliers, and other teams to ensure proper documentation and information flow. Review and Authorization: Assist with record reviews and authorize documents as delegated by Quality Management. Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports related to quality and food safety issues. Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and report on key information related to supplier documentation and compliance. Skills and Qualifications:
Document Control Expertise: Knowledge of document control principles, procedures, and best practices. Quality Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Quality Systems Regulations (QSRs), HACCP, and GMPs. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various teams. Data Analysis: Ability to interpret and analyze data, including trend analysis. Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and potentially SAP or other systems. Additional Information:
The Document Control Coordinator may also be involved in change control processes, supplier communication, and assisting with audits. This role may require experience in an office-based environment and the ability to work effectively in a team. Proactive problem-solving and multitasking are also important skills for this position.
