The approximate base salary range is $130,000 - $190,000 (final compensation depends on experience, knowledge, abilities, etc.).

Job Summary
Project Managers at Dennis Group serve as the primary client contact throughout the entire project delivery process, from design concept to bidding, construction, and start-up. Your role is to ensure project scope, cost, and schedule are successfully met. Our projects involve designing and building food and beverage process facilities (industrial projects). You will coordinate with design/architect teams, engineering teams, and construction teams within Dennis Group to ensure project success. The Project Manager’s mission is to provide project management and execution expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Additionally, Project Managers play a vital role in client relationship management. Therefore, having the necessary experience, skills, and character to support sales and marketing activities is essential. Success in this role requires excellent leadership, organization, and time management skills, as well as a technical background, professionalism, self-motivation, energy, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
Work autonomously on specific tasks.
Possess expertise in both building and process systems.
Serve as the direct client contact and lead project manager on large projects.
Manage projects from planning through commissioning, developing success criteria, and ensuring achievement.
Develop project scope, budget, schedule, and critical path elements.
Prepare RFIs, purchase/work authorizations, and maintain the client SharePoint site.
Train and mentor junior project managers.
Propose new business to clients, including developing proposals and leading presentations.
Manage in-house and consulting design teams, establish design criteria, and review documents.
Manage permits, code, and regulatory approvals.
Develop procurement strategies, including bid packages and evaluating bidders.
Define project kickoff, scope, and deliverables.
Manage communication, develop project specifications, and conceptual layouts.
Oversee bid processes, maintain project records, and develop lessons learned.
Develop and issue reports, manage project forecasting, and review engineering deliverables.
Create accurate project cost estimates and manage project budgets and change orders.
Coordinate equipment installations, onsite supervision, and design team support.
Facilitate planning sessions, manage project close-out, and interface with clients and third parties.
Utilize various software tools (MS Office, CAD, Navisworks, MS Project, SharePoint, etc.).
Research project management best practices and support talent development, including interviewing candidates.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
8+ years of experience in a design-build environment with multiple engineering disciplines.
8+ years of experience with MEP industrial construction projects, preferably in food and beverage or pharmaceutical sectors.
8+ years in building construction, project scheduling, estimating, and safety.
Proven track record as a Project Manager, delivering projects on time and meeting requirements.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and similar software.
Familiarity with sanitary environments is a plus.
Willingness to travel overnight at least 50% of the time (70-120 nights annually).
Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Occasional standing and walking on rough terrain at job sites.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Travel Requirement
Must be able to travel extensively, as projects are across the US and Canada, with a minimum of 50% overnight travel.
