Job Title: Senior Mobile Accelerator Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite in every week)

Job Profile Summary:
As a Senior Mobile Accelerator Engineer, you will own the design, development, and evolution of our reusable mobile frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and best-practice accelerators. You'll partner closely with product-line engineering teams, architects, security, and QA to ensure new features, performance optimizations, and security controls are integrated seamlessly across our iOS, Android, and hybrid platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Framework & SDK Development
Architect and implement modular, reusable iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) SDKs and libraries
Define and enforce design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture) across accelerator modules
Hybrid & PWA Integration
Build and maintain bridges for React Native and PWA micro-frontends within native shells
CI/CD & Automation
Design and optimize end-to-end pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions (Fastlane, Firebase App Distribution, Play/App Store publishing)
Develop automated UI and regression testing suites (XCTest, Espresso, Appium)
Performance & Quality Engineering
Profile, benchmark, and tune app performance (Instruments, Android Profiler)
Integrate static analysis and security scans (SonarQube, Checkmarx, Zimperium RASP)
Security & Compliance
Implement secure storage, encryption, certificate pinning, and OAuth/OIDC best practices (Okta, Entra ID)
Ensure alignment with financial-services compliance (PCI-DSS, ISO 20022 data handling)
Telemetry & Monitoring
Instrument analytics, crash-reporting, and alerting (Firebase, Dynatrace, Google Analytics, Crashlytics)
Build dashboards for real-time health and usage metrics
Collaboration & Enablement
Mentor and guide product-team engineers in adopting accelerator components
Drive documentation, sample apps, and workshops to increase framework adoption
Required Qualifications
5+ years of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development
Demonstrated experience building and publishing reusable SDKs/libraries
Expertise with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions for mobile pipelines
Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration
Strong understanding of mobile app security, encryption, and OAuth/OIDC flows
Proven track record in performance profiling and static-analysis integration
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft clear docs and samples
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
Preferred Experience
Hybrid/mobile web expertise: React Native or PWA micro-frontend patterns
Background in financial-services or regulated-industry mobile apps
Familiarity with API gateway patterns (Akamai, Azure Front Door & APIM, Google Cloud)
Exposure to enterprise-scale mobile security tools (Zimperium, NowSecure)
Scrum/Agile practitioner with experience writing epics, features, and user stories
