Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a passionate and skilled software engineer to provide software engineering solutions within the Secure Systems Group. The role involves working across all software layers of device architecture, debugging across various environments, and collaborating with internal teams and external customers. Responsibilities: • Strong C programming skills, with an emphasis on secure programming best practices. • Strong understanding of embedded hardware & driver concepts. • Strong understanding of software and computer architecture concepts. • Strong understanding of operating system concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, memory management, etc. • Experience with JTAG-enabled devices and software debugger, with excellent debugging skills. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • Strong C programming skills, with an emphasis on secure programming best practices. • Strong understanding of embedded hardware & driver concepts. • Strong understanding of software and computer architecture concepts. • Strong understanding of operating system concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, memory management, etc. • Experience with JTAG-enabled devices and software debugger, with excellent debugging skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Being a team player who can function well with minimum supervision • Attention to detail and follow-through Preferred: • Working knowledge of cryptography and secure protocols. • Qualcomm MSM and AMSS development experience. • ARM architecture and software development experience. • RISC-V architecture and software development experience. • Experience with on-chip simulators/emulators. • Experience with ARM Trustzone architecture.
