The Lead Software Developer's role involves designing, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining software solutions to meet business requirements. You will lead internal and contractor teams, design and write code, and collaborate with business partners, analysts, and project managers to define and validate requirements and technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership – 40% Leading the development team in designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications Planning and documenting technical specifications Collaborating with IT to resolve software issues Generating reports on programming progress Ensuring quality and scalable deliverables through collaboration with QA and DevOps Mentoring junior team members Software Development – 40% Designing, coding, testing, and monitoring software applications according to specifications Project Coordination and Support – 20% Collaborating on new software development projects Helping define project requirements and documentation Developing project plans and analyzing existing systems Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences, and Skills: 8-10 years of experience Expertise in PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel Strong Azure experience Experience with Docker, WordPress Practitioner of Agile methodologies Experience interviewing end-users Understanding of design patterns and best practices Experience with RESTful development, databases (MSSQL, MySQL), JavaScript frameworks (React.JS, jQuery, Angular) Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT Knowledge of data privacy laws (preferred) Intermediate knowledge of Windows, Composer, IIS Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred Location:
