We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Market/Client Risk Management II (Transaction Manager) to join our Transaction Management Group (Structured Debt) team. This role is located in Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Analyze and review more complex or unique services provided to clients with consideration for BNY risk. Review, analyze, and execute complex transactions with clients, ensuring the most complex deals are set up correctly and risks are mitigated through thorough document review while meeting client objectives. Facilitate onboarding client responsibilities and review contracts and transaction documents, working with issuers, lawyers, and advisors to ensure transactions comply with BNY standards. Coordinate or oversee tasks with internal and external parties, lead communications with lawyers, advisors, and clients to resolve structural or contractual issues, and prepare or review required documents and market/shareholder notices.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance or a related area, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 7-10 years of total work experience preferred. Experience managing complex risk and transaction management analysis for large clients or transactions. Strong knowledge of corporate policies, business procedures, and applicable regulations to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. Ability to provide guidance to less experienced team members and potentially assume Team Lead responsibilities.
