QAQC Engineer

Job Description Review project specifications, general requirements, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with quality standards Report QAQC activities directly to the Project Manager Updating summaries and maintaining records of documents, drawings, letters, forms, and submissions Closing audit-related reports, including ISO, safety, CONQUAS, cross-project, client, and site audits Arrange, coordinate, and conduct all required testing according to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) Monitor and document testing of mock-ups and material samples Track and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Non-Conformance Notifications (NCNs), ensuring their timely closure Ensure project quality aligns with company and project quality plans; report quality concerns promptly Lead in managing project document control, including filing and electronic document management Support document distribution and submissions to clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third parties Prepare quality-related presentations and updates for project teams and management Conduct quality inspections on-site involving clients, Resident Engineers (RE), Resident Technical Officers (RTO), and subcontractors Lead in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) on the project Perform on-site surveillance to monitor compliance with project specifications Handle quality issues, NCRs, and NCNs Plan and conduct internal audits and surveillance for continuous compliance Coordinate with Site Engineers regarding materials and QAQC documentation, ensuring material quality and quantity; report discrepancies Liaise with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and production teams for CONQUAS inspections Prepare monthly quality reports for clients and internal stakeholders Ensure all activities are in accordance with company policies and procedures Job Requirements Diploma or degree in Construction/Building or related discipline At least 4 years of experience in the QAQC field, preferably within the construction industry Strong knowledge of quality standards, ISO requirements, and inspection/testing procedures Experience with CONQUAS or similar quality assessment systems is preferred Familiarity with document management systems and quality management systems (QMS) Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools
