We are looking for a creative and pragmatic problem solver to serve on our world-class Commercial Legal team, reporting to a Director of Legal. This is a hybrid role based in our Menlo Park (CA), Dublin (CA), or Denver (CO) offices.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Work closely with Sales teams on SaaS transactions that drive company revenue Structure, negotiate, and close complex sales agreements Provide legal and business guidance to senior leaders Manage risk and ensure agreements reflect business and compliance needs Adapt in a fast-paced environment Respond promptly to sales team demands Develop and deliver legal and contract training Improve forms, policies, and processes for contracting Stay updated on legal changes affecting our services A successful candidate will build strong relationships with customers and internal teams, including sales, professional services, and alliances. We seek someone flexible, dedicated, and eager to contribute to Snowflake's growth. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
At least 8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS company Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and U.S. law license Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills Strong background in SaaS issues like revenue recognition, privacy, security, and IP Organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting Strategic and tactical thinking Excellent interpersonal skills Service-oriented with integrity Experience with regulated cloud clients or knowledge of AI legal developments is a plus All employees must adhere to confidentiality and data security standards.
