Data Analyst Sr (Finance ? Encounter Data)
to join our team. The Data Analyst Sr will support data reporting responsibilities within the Encounters team in the Finance department. Responsibilities include maintaining Encounter tasks, monitoring 5010 837 file submissions, creating SQL queries for data reconciliation, and improving data reporting methods. The role ensures timely and accurate data submissions with the IT team. Position Details: Department:

Key Responsibilities: Program Support (95%)
Participate in a culture of high-quality performance with a focus on customer service, dignity, and accountability. Support department goals and collaborate with other teams. Maintain data in SQL tables and ensure data integrity. Coordinate with departments like Claims and IT to improve data submissions. Assist in reconciling data and preparing analytics reports. Develop business requirements for technical programs. Maintain relationships with health networks and stay updated on DHCS and CMS reporting requirements.
Other Duties (5%) Complete additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus 5 years of experience in SQL query development and reporting. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Experience:
4+ years in IPA, hospital, or health plan setting. Experience with managed health care programs.
Skills & Abilities:
Effective communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data systems. Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Work Environment:
Ability to read screens, communicate clearly, and lift objects up to 25 pounds. Work is primarily indoors, with travel as needed, and varies by location (office, clinical, community).
