Salary:
$80,000.00 Job Summary: As the
Sous Chef , you will oversee the Culinary Department at the United Polaris Lounge, San Francisco International Airport. Your responsibilities include supervising food preparation, developing menus, and assisting with ordering. You may supervise hourly staff and collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new culinary concepts. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Executive Chef with managing costs and expenditures Participate in menu planning and creation Coordinate catering events Implement new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams Qualifications: Associate's degree or equivalent experience Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience Catering experience is a plus Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations Knowledge of food and catering trends, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications ServSafe certification is highly desirable Additional Information: This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
