Autonomous Control Software Systems Engineer

Autonomous Control Software Systems Engineer

will: Understand complex systems, including failure modes and interfaces Apply model-based systems engineering practices to develop system models Have experience with FMEAs, FMECAs, fault trees, or other fault management tools, along with some software experience Perform additional duties as required Applicants must submit resumes with month and year of employment included. Qualifications - External Requisition Qualifications: This position may be posted at multiple levels; candidate experience and needs will determine the level considered. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5-10 years of related experience; licenses and certifications may be required Experience modeling cyber-physical systems, risk assessments, fault analysis, redundancy, fault tolerance, and system health management Strong background in dynamics, with experience in mechanical and electrical systems Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with avionics and software architecture Knowledge of NASA software and systems development standards Proficiency in C/C++, Linux, and Python scripting Why Join Us?
