Wage Range: $45.92 - $82.96 per hour Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity. Job Summary: Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines. Primary Duties: Performs preoperative nursing assessments by telephone. Provides preoperative teaching to patients and their families. Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of preoperative patients and their families. Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process. Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care. Effectively communicates all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way. Performs other duties as assigned. u00A0 Qualifications: License, Certification, Education or Experience: REQUIRED u00A0 for the position: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire One (1) year experience of care delivery in a monitored care area: PACU, ICU, ED, or telemetry Completion of unit competencies for PreOp Clinic within probationary period or first 2 months if an employee transfer Ability to identify EKG rhythms and related necessary interventions Understanding of Pain Management and related pharmacology Understanding of Cardiac medication pharmacology DESIRED u00A0 for the position: Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Nursing CAPA certification Benefit Information: Choices that care for you and your family At EvergreenHealth , we appreciate our employeesu2019 commitment and contribution to our success.
