Develop Communication Plans to support animal initiatives, park openings, announcements, rides, special events, and ticket products for relevant park locations Create and execute publicity campaigns to achieve the parks’ business goals and enhance the brands Draft press materials including press releases, media alerts, and key messages Build relationships in key source markets to help with reputation Assist in organizing and serve as the in-park media escort for journalists, influencers, celebrities, and other media Influencer management including research, outreach, coordinating visits, and exclusive influencer events throughout the year Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration by identifying and coordinating with internal subject matter experts and spokespeople across various departments to support timely and relevant storytelling for key campaigns Support executive thought leadership by crafting talking points and public speaking remarks for park leadership Coordinate and support community relations efforts, including planning and executing collaborative campaigns and events with local organizations, nonprofits, and educational institutions Serve as on-air company spokesperson when necessary Act as owner/liaison of specific source outlets Organize and participate in in-studio media appearances Create, research, and maintain media distribution lists Assist with social media objectives and event support when necessary Assist with arranging complimentary media and community tickets Provide coverage reports for Communications programs Assist the department in other duties as assigned What it takes to succeed:

At least two years’ experience related to Public Relations, influencer marketing, hospitality industry, marketing, and communication or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, marketing, or equivalent education and experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Knowledge of social media influencer marketing Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly to different audiences, including senior management and industry leadership Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple stakeholders and projects Positive, enthusiastic demeanor to set an example for park staff Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What else is important:

Must be able to lift 20 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat Work schedule primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility for weekends, evenings, and holidays; occasional travel required Practices safe work habits, including PPE use and reporting unsafe situations Compensation:
