Our client is currently seeking an
Information Security Engineer IV
to join their
Cloud Lifecycle Security team
within the broader Cybersecurity organization. In this role, you’ll focus on engineering, automation, and support for
Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud Enterprise (PCE) , with a strong emphasis on container security and Cloud Workload Protection (CWP). You’ll help drive secure cloud enablement across public and private cloud environments, contributing to the success of the organization. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation and security go hand in hand. Responsibilities include: Engineer and support the enterprise implementation of Prisma Cloud Enterprise (PCE), ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and security objectives. Design and develop automation for PCE operations, focusing on container security and workload protection. Manage deployment and monitoring of Prisma Defender agents across Kubernetes environments (Tanzu, AKS, GKE, OpenShift / OCP). Perform upgrades, configuration management, and incident response for PCE consoles and agents. Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams using tools like Confluence. Collaborate with partner teams to resolve vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and false positives. Share knowledge and mentor team members while working independently to deliver results under tight deadlines. Qualifications & Requirements: 4+ years of experience in information security engineering. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Prisma Cloud Enterprise (PCE), including configuration, automation, and support. 1+ year of experience deploying and managing Prisma Defender agents in Kubernetes environments. 4+ years of experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket). 1+ year of experience with AI / ML or GenAI platforms (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI). 2+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs and processing JSON using Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI. 2+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes preferred) and microservices. 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS). 1+ year of experience with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cloud security best practices.
