Under minimal direction, participate as a leader of the Development Team to achieve department and project objectives on large, complex, high-risk projects. Lead engineering, process, or financial tasks during both preliminary and detailed development of projects. Perform high-level analysis on complex technical and financial elements, focusing on bundled programs. Support engineering, process, or financial tasks during solution design. Support the team in achieving business goals by following the Solutions Playbook and Best Business Practices methodology. Establish ongoing partnerships with customers on assigned projects. Lead and mentor other Development Team members. How You Will Do It

Provide technical, process, or financial support during the design process. Assist in developing the customer business case for the conceptual solution. Lead preliminary data collection and modeling efforts for assigned opportunities. Support detailed development of large projects (>$2M). Validate assumptions, build detailed budgets and scopes, and develop energy savings and financial models (ROI). Assist in preparing proposals and customer communication documents. Utilize specialized expertise across multiple functional areas. Assess design risk and be accountable for all elements of large projects. Understand JCI offerings and their applications. Devise alternative solutions to meet specific program requirements. Lead cross-functional teams in developing multiple components of bundled sales. Perform detailed engineering or financial analyses to quantify cost savings or customer benefits. Lead development of customer baselines and perform risk analysis for complete solutions. Lead presentations to C-level or economic clients as needed. Represent the development team in operational reviews of large or complex programs. Create and manage budgets, timelines, and quality for assigned opportunities. Fully utilize the Solutions Playbook, MyWork, and other JCI tools. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and technical managers. Stay current with relevant standards and practices. Provide post-contract review support if needed. Participate in professional organizations and maintain relevant certifications. Promote safety policies and perform other duties as assigned. Lead a development team on large, high-risk projects, support sales by identifying opportunities, and serve as a technical expert. Requires a university degree or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of experience. Preferred

Fifteen or more years of experience in designing/selling building systems, energy modeling, construction, or facility management. A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Consideration may be given to candidates with less experience at a lower level. Who We Are
