About the Role
As a Department Supervisor, you will support the sales and profit goals of the store by executing plans to deliver the best customer experience in the department and overall store. You will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities:
Support the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial presentation according to global guidelines.
Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
Identify your department's strengths and commercial opportunities, working with your Department Manager to act on them.
Ensure customer service is provided in all store areas and that your team actively promotes and sells products.
Promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives.
Maintain routines in fitting rooms and checkout, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
Handle all administrative routines correctly for both people and operations.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Stay updated with fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers.
Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.
Team & Development
Share your knowledge and skills with the store team.
Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser team.
Give and receive feedback to support each other's development.
Communicate regularly with store colleagues to inform, motivate, and inspire.
Follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements across the store.
Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution
Keep the sales floor and back of house areas clean and tidy.
Ensure high-quality visual and product presentation.
Maintain stock levels and provide input on allocation.
Manage the full garment cycle and fitting room routines according to standards.
Utilize all tools and technology provided for store services.
Maintain consistent pricing signage following global and local strategies.
Keep BOH areas organized and compliant with safety standards.
Responsible for opening and closing the store daily.

Compensation: $20.65 - $24.37 hourly (expected range)
