Silver State Schools Credit Union Full Time (40 Hours) Monday - Friday Headquarters: 630 Trade Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89119 PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of this position is to support Silver State Schools Credit Union in delivering excellent member service and financial solutions by ensuring robust IT network security systems and functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Security Administration: Develop strategies to enforce security requirements and address risks. Act as a SME on information security systems and best practices. Coordinate with vendors on security and network access. Support VPN systems, monitor firewalls, and collaborate on vulnerability remediation. Research and implement new security technologies. Monitor security logs and participate in investigations. Manage network security tools and promote security awareness. Assist with disaster recovery planning.
Active Directory Administration:
Design and manage Active Directory infrastructure and policies. Support domain upgrades, group policies, and user account issues. Maintain DNS, DHCP, and related documentation.
Network Administration:
Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and connectivity. Monitor network performance and security. Support network setup for new facilities and perform maintenance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in MIS or related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience. Minimum 5 years in network technical support and cybersecurity. At least 3 years in incident response or forensics preferred.
