Detailed Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Java Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in Azure cloud services, microservices architecture, DevOps tooling, and scalable Java-based application development. The ideal candidate will guide development teams, enforce engineering best practices, and ensure performance, security, and scalability across solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Java-based applications on Azure Cloud Lead technical teams, mentor developers, and enforce best practices across the development lifecycle Design and integrate Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL, and Blob Storage Implement and optimize Java microservices using Spring Boot and containerization with Docker & Kubernetes Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Terraform Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance policies in all deployments Conduct code reviews, enforce quality gates, and drive performance improvements Work in Agile environments and collaborate cross-functionally to meet delivery targets

ust-Have Skills :

Proven experience in Java development using Spring Boot and Hibernate Strong hands-on experience with Azure services: App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, AKS Solid knowledge of Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes Expertise in DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform Strong understanding of RESTful APIs design and integration Leadership and mentoring capabilities in distributed team environments Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Strong problem-solving and communication skills
