Director of Finance
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Director of Finance . Step into the heart of hospitality excellence as the
Director of Finance at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions —home to America’s Largest Indoor Waterparks and award-winning convention destinations. This strategic leadership role is key to driving the financial health and long-term growth of a dynamic, fast-paced resort environment. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, you’ll oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring compliance and optimizing profitability across resort operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support resort-wide goals Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal controls Provide actionable insights to executive leadership for business decision-making Supervise and develop the finance/accounting team Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships Drive process improvements and optimize financial systems Required Experience: A four-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience. Requires professional certification (e.g., CPA) or the equivalent level of experience. Experience required by position is five to ten years of employment in a related position (Finance/Accounting) with hospitality companies/organizations is preferred.
