IT Systems Engineer

Reporting to the Manager, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled System Engineer to design, set up and maintain a network of computers, including hardware, software, and system architecture. Individual should be a good team player and is able to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders. Manage project implementation on the development and installation of new networking and computing infrastructures (ie. Dell server/storage hardware, Wireless network, switches and routers, Firewall, and basic infrastructure support) Installing and configuring operating systems and application software. (ie. Microsoft servers, messaging, monitoring/management software, Backup software, Virtualization, DLP/Antivirus software ) Selecting the best possible solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies. Anticipating potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues when they arise. Generate Service Report for customers and ensure that the report is sent to the customer timely. Coordinate and monitor work progress with customer and relevant parties for information to expedite Perform 24/7 standby duty for service calls on a rotational basis. And any other ad hoc job requirements Requirements Possess a degree or diploma in Computer Science or IT professional certifications from Microsoft, HPE/Aruba, Cisco, VMware, etc Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting networking and computing infrastructures Good communications skills Experienced in Dell, NetApp, VMWare, Fortinet or Nutanix
