The IT Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful delivery of global projects across all JAS subsidiaries. This position works cross-functionally to plan, coordinate, and execute project implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, resource availability, and project timelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage end-to-end delivery of global IT projects, including planning, execution, status tracking, and issue resolution
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation across functional teams
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and executive management
Facilitate regular project meetings, document key decisions, and ensure follow-up on action items
Coordinate internal and external resources to meet project goals and deadlines
Identify project risks and proactively work with teams to resolve issues that could impact delivery
Support the growth of project management capabilities across the organization
Assist in building and maturing the Project Management Office (PMO) structure within JAS
Help establish costing models to track internal resource allocation and budgeting
Collaborate with global teams to promote effective communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required
Masters degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in project or program management, ideally within global or enterprise IT environments
Experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or international transportation industries strongly preferred
Familiarity with project management tools, reporting dashboards, and enterprise systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects across multiple regions Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet), and basic database/reporting tools
Basic understanding of financial modeling, cost allocation, and budgeting in project environments
Adaptable, resourceful, and solution-oriented with a proactive mindset
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required; valid passport required
High energy and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
