Test Engineer (2 years contract)

Job Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end testing of integrated ePayment systems. Plan and execute the full testing lifecycle – from test planning to defect closure. Analyze business and system requirements to design and develop test cases. Prepare test environments and execute manual and automated test procedures. Develop automated test scripts and perform system performance tuning. Ensure traceability of requirements, identify test coverage gaps, and resolve issues. Log, track, and follow up on defects through to resolution. Collaborate with stakeholders for test case reviews and updates. Conduct root cause analysis of UAT and production issues and improve test processes. Prepare user guides and documentation for automated testing tools. Job Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in system testing and test automation, preferably involving embedded or UI-based devices and back-office systems. Familiarity with the full SDLC (requirements, development, testing, deployment). Experience with Smart Card, micro-payments, or Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems will be an added advantage.
