Overview:
The Administrative Coordinator - Nursing oversees administrative processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and coordinates nursing services across departments to achieve optimal patient care. Working under minimal supervision, this position is accountable for operational throughput with patients, families, nursing staff and physicians, other departments, and outside agencies.

Talent Pool: Nursing Responsibilities: Resolves issues related to administrative tasks and provides guidance and policy interpretation to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Reviews the work of lower-level professionals and provides feedback and support to maintain high standards of performance. Assists nursing leadership and other departments to streamline administrative workflows to enhance operational efficiency. Maintains effective communication channels with nursing staff and other stakeholders, to ensure positive patient outcomes. Seeks guidance and advice from senior management and experienced healthcare professionals when encountering highly complex issues. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing or similar field EXPERIENCE: Required: 3 or more years as a Registered Nurse required. Preferred: Acute care setting. Previous leadership and/or critical care experience preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: Required: RN- Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or Compact state. BLS ACLS (Not applicable for the Behavioral Health Service Line) Notary public certification in the State of North Carolina (must be completed within six months of hire)
