Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Security Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, FL (ONSITE). • CISSP certification is required. Description: • Must have extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and data compliances, systems and network administration, security operations and incident response. • Develops and manages security for more than one IT functional area (data compliance, systems and network, security operations and incident response) across the enterprise. • Assists in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures (e.g., user log-on and authentication rules, security breach escalation procedures, security auditing procedures and use of firewalls and encryption routines). • Prepares status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures. • Responsible for investigating and remediating alerts generated by security tools. • Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security tools and reports, reviewing security violations and investigating possible security exceptions, and maintaining and documenting security controls. • Involved in the security evaluation of vendor products and/or solutions. • Provides direct support to the business and IT staff for security related issues. • Educates IT and business teams on security policies and responds to security inquiries. • Represents the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance in all IT projects with regard to security issues. • A junior-level position primarily focuses on security administration, while a senior-level role involves developing enterprise security strategies, managing security projects, and addressing the most complex security issues. • Intermediate professional level role. • Works independently or on multiple IT security projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader. • Works on small to large, complex security issues or projects that require increased skill in multiple IT functional areas. Requirements: • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields.
