Our client - a major utility firm based out of Westchester County, NY - has an immediate need for an AI/ Automation Engineer / UiPath Developer. The particulars of the position are as follows. Job Functions & Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient automation solutions using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot. • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business processes and identify automation opportunities. • Integrate automations with AI/ML models, APIs, OCR engines, NLP services (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI, Google Cloud NLP) and other intelligent systems. • Develop and implement AI algorithms and models to enhance automation capabilities and improve decision-making processes. • Leverage additional automation tools such as Power Automate, or Python/RPA frameworks to build hybrid solutions when appropriate. • Utilize AI tools and technologies to perform data analysis, predictive modeling, and natural language processing to support automation tasks. • Implement best practices for automation design, logging, exception handling, and security. • Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and provide support for deployed bots. • Contribute to establishing automation governance standards and best practices across the enterprise. • Stay updated with the latest AI and automation trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve and innovate automation solutions. Skills: • Proven experience as a UiPath Developer with a strong understanding of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot. • Hands-on experience building and integrating with AI/ML models, APIs, OCR engines, NLP services. • Proficiency in AI tools and technologies such as Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI, Google Cloud NLP, or similar. • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java for developing AI models and automation scripts. • Ability to design and implement AI algorithms and models to enhance automation capabilities. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members. • Knowledge of best practices for automation design, logging, exception handling, and security. • Experience with other automation tools like Power Automate is a plus. • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest AI and automation trends.
