Job Description In your new role you will:
Confirm that the management plans (safety plan, document plan, verification plan, C&CM) are in line with the implementation of ISO26262 at Infineon PSS PL91.
Conduct Functional safety Audits and Assessments as Co-Auditor during the product development life cycle to ensure compliance with ISO26262.
Conduct continuous assessment vs the ISO26262 requirements to create the evidence for the safety case.
Confirm that corrective actions for systematic issues are agreed upon and adequately addressed to meet ISO26262 requirements. Contribute to impact analysis, change, and configuration management reviews as part of the development project team.
Conduct functional safety audits and assessments as co-auditor during the product development cycle to ensure compliance with the mentioned management plans.
Conduct verification reviews on key work products (safety plan, safety concept, verification report, safety analysis report, safety case report).
Provide guidance on ISO26262 process compliance and product conformance to project team members, project managers, and safety managers.
Support external safety assessments and audits.
Define reliability qualification strategy for high-complexity new products, including preparation and execution of reliability qualification, assessment of results, and measures in case of deviations.
Support projects by deriving quality requirements and targets from customer input, norms, and regulations, with deep knowledge of norms like AEC-Q100, JEDEC.
Ensure process compliance during product development and production, maintaining quality assurance measures and documentation, applying quality systems, methods, and tools.
Communicate with customers regarding product quality topics and questions, providing release documentation such as PPAP.
As FS-QM, confirm measures according to ISO26262 and internal rules, including audits and assessments, supporting the safety manager to achieve process compliance.
During production, ensure product quality within the volume core team, assessing deviations, managing changes, and conducting impact analysis as per ISO26262.
The wage range that the Company Expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of
$168,700 Salary per year
Maximum of
$232,000 Salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have:
University degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
7 years of experience in semiconductor or automotive product development, with excellent knowledge of functional safety methodology and standards (ISO26262).
Experience with quality management, strong interpersonal skills, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills.
Open to travel (15%).
