Shipping Dispatcher/Clerk
Are you ready to start the best job you've ever had? EMC Precision is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Dispatcher/Clerk to join our team in Sheridan, Indiana!
Role Overview Coordinate daily shipments, manage subcontract operations, and maintain inventory control while serving as a vital link between planning, quality, and shipping departments.
Key Responsibilities - Manage subcontract operations (outgoing parts, POs, tracking) - Create and process shipping documentation (packing slips, BOLs) - Handle receiving operations (Amazon, UPS, POs) - Schedule and coordinate shipments (FedEx, R&L, Dispatch It) - Monitor supplies and generate purchase requests - Direct shipping team workflow and priorities - Maintain communication with Planning and Quality departments
Requirements: Requirements - High school diploma/GED preferred - Valid driver's license - Ability to lift 50 lbs - 2+ years shipping/receiving experience preferred - Strong organizational and communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Experience with shipping documentation - Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
