Scheduling Coordinator
to join our compassionate, dedicated team of healthcare professionals. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our Assisted Living and Healthcare units are always fully and appropriately staffed, helping us deliver the highest level of care to our residents. What You’ll Do:
Staffing & Scheduling Prepare, post, and manage monthly and daily staffing schedules for Assisted Living and Healthcare units
Coordinate with nursing leadership to address any immediate staffing needs or concerns
Work closely with the Staff Development Coordinator to onboard and schedule new hires and mandatory staff training
Maintain accurate employee records and review staffing-related invoices
Employee Support Assist with new hire documentation and onboarding processes
Prepare biweekly payroll reports and distribute paychecks
Coordinate with the Clinic for employee health screenings (e.g., TB, Chest X-rays)
Promote positive communication and relationships among team members across departments
Team & Culture Building Exhibit leadership and professionalism in all interactions
Support quality improvement initiatives and offer suggestions for better staffing operations
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, facility policies, and all regulatory requirements
Uphold Lakewood’s commitment to resident care and staff excellence
What We’re Looking For:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with scheduling software and general computer systems
Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking abilities
Flexibility, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
