Your responsibilities will include: Performing diagnostic sonograms to demonstrate anatomy and pathology for interpretation. Obtaining patient clinical information and preparing patients for imaging. Preparing equipment and ensuring proper room setup before and after exams. Demonstrating self-critique and recognizing sub-optimal techniques and equipment malfunctions. Meeting physical requirements for performing exams in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Maintaining ARDMS credentials according to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's criteria.Qualifications:Required: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program from an approved school. ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties (at minimum). BLS certification. 2-5 years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a similar ultrasound department.Preferred: Senior Sonographer skills. Pediatric experience. Hospital experience. Ultrasound experience in OB, thyroid, and transplant kidney/liver.
