Are you living your life's work?The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking full-time Diagnostic Radiographer!The schedule will be as follows: Thurs-Sun, 1030PM- 9AMOn Call/Holiday rotation required The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging for both inpatients and ER patients. Rotations may include the Emergency Department, Inpatient portables, and Inpatient and Outpatient department. They will be responsible for holiday and on-call coverage.Responsibilities:•Patient Care ProvideroGreets patients building a good report to gain trust and confidence.oVerifies all information necessary to perform procedures consistent with section protocols.oMonitors patients for their safety and well-being throughout the procedures while responding to any need or concern while in their care.oThoroughly completes all pre and post exam duties including but not limited to patient preparation, reviewing exam orders, and making changes or edits as needed•Radiology Equipment OperatoroOperates radiology equipment using proper techniques to produce high quality images.oMaintains equipment and troubleshoots service issues.oPractices radiation safety guidelines at all times.• CoordinatoroTakes initiative to resolve issues/concerns from patients, family, physicians, UPHS personal, and co-workers.oAnswer phone calls using appropriate greeting and information.oEnsures proper work flow is being achieved at all times.•OperationsoExpress compassion and hospitality.oDemonstrates passion for quality and service.oEffectively works with other UPHS personnel to achieve best results.oManages resources to consistently improve quality care and great value.oContinuously learns and improves performance.•Core ValuesoTreats people respectfully.oAdheres to established policies and procedures.oMaintains confidentiality.oEffectively communicates and ensures understanding of UPHS mission and values.Credentials:Basic Cardiac Life SupportARRTEducation or Equivalent Experience:Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology ProgramWe believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
