Part-time Surgical Technology Instructor
to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the next generation of surgical technologists by providing engaging and effective learning experiences. Key Responsibilities: Instructional Duties:
Deliver high-quality instruction in various settings including classrooms, labs, and online. Prepare lesson plans and familiarize yourself with course materials to enhance the learning experience. Assess students' academic performance objectively and provide constructive feedback. Utilize learning management systems effectively and manage student documentation securely. Student Interaction: Create a welcoming and conducive learning environment. Serve as a professional role model, maintaining high standards of conduct. Provide regular feedback on attendance, academic performance, and behavior. Manage classroom policies effectively and address any concerns with the Program Director. Additional Duties: Participate in faculty development activities and maintain classroom organization. Assist in the planning and execution of graduation ceremonies and campus events. Contribute to a positive campus culture and support student recognition initiatives. Qualifications: Minimum of an associate degree in surgical technology. Four years of recent clinical experience, including two years in the operating room within the last five years. Must be credentialed through a national certifying body accredited by NCCA.
