Description
We are a Psych Facility/Doctor office looking for a MA / TMS Tech (Medical Assistant).
Main location will be at McKinney location with an occasional workday at Sherman location.
Perform a wide variety of patient care activities including:
Maintaining clinical records/documentation, taking vital signs and preparing patients for test, Transcribing, procedures and psych evaluations. Able to multitask and has ability to communicate well. Will perform screenings and verify patient information, by interviewing the patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit. Maintains safe secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. May provide a variety of administrative/clerical duties, scheduling patient appointments, answering the phones collecting data and forwarding to the appropriate staff. Calling pharmacy and completing paperwork for providers as needed. May provide occasional working supervision to non-licensed medical and/or clerical office support personnel for clerical functions or other non-clinical activities. Exceptional customer service skills and professional presentation and demeanor. Requirements
Qualifications:
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (required) College Degree preferred 2+ years' experience in a medical office Experience with EMR Medical terminology Psychiatry experience a plus
