Speech & Language Pathologist

QUALIFICATIONS:

1)Master's Degree 2) Current physical certifying capability of performing job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. 3) Must possess English language skills for effective communication. 4) Demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of professional responsibilities.

CERTIFICATION:

Appropriate Illinois State Board of Education Certification (PEL) with SLPN Endorsement; Pre-K through Age 22

REPORTS TO:

Building Principal and Director of Special Education

JOB GOAL:

The primary goal of the teacher is to assist the students in his/her development of knowledge, concepts, generalizations, principles, appreciation and attitudes that will promote fullest possible growth and assist him/her in valuing the dignity and worth of himself/herself/and others. The teacher shall provide within the classroom an educational program for the students and assist in other school programs as required by district policy.

EVALUATION: In accordance with District Policy and Administrative Procedures

SALARY: Based on training and experience in accordance with the Agreement between Indian Springs School District #109 and Indian Springs Council, Local 571 of the IFT/AFT.
