A hospital in upstate New York with an opportunity for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to assist their team.
About the Opportunity:
Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday -10, 12, 14, & 24-hour shifts available 1 weeknight call shift per week, 5p-7a + 24 hr weekend call shifts Cases include heart transplants & insertion of temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support devices Volumes: ~1000 cases/year EMR: Epic Working independently Paid travel & lodging Must be board certified, fellowship trained in Cardiac and have TEE certification Long-term assignment If you are interested, please apply to learn more.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered New York Anesthesiologist state license Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program One year of work experience as Cardiac Anesthesiologist One year of Epic experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements:
COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
