JOB QUALIFICATIONS-Certified Surgical First Assistant - Cardiovascular Operating RoomCSFA - CVORFull-TimeCertified Surgical First Assistant candidates for the Cardiovascular Operating Room must meet the following minimum job qualifications:Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by an accredited agency.Current Certification as Surgical First Assistant through a nationally accredited certification agency.High School DiplomaBLS certification requiredCurrent acute clinical care experience preferredCurrent experience in Surgery as a CSTFACurrent experience in CVOR and vein harvestingCVOR requires open heart and cardiovascular experienceShift: 4-10 Hour Shifts OR 3-12 Hour Shifts (depending on department needs)CSTFA Certification requiredCardiothoracic experience is okay as long as the candidate has done open heart casesOn Call requirement is 1 day a week and 1 weekend per month
