Job Description Summary

Job Description Radiologic Technologists will have the opportunity to train in the Mammography Department. Under the direct supervision of Registered Mammography Technologists and the Breast Imaging Leadership Team, RTs will gain hands-on experience and develop specialized skills necessary to perform mammographic imaging in accordance with departmental standards and regulatory guidelines. Candidates must hold a current South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License, a valid BLS certification, and be registered through the ARRT. Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to train and work at various outreach locations throughout the Charleston area.
. Current certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) are mandatory.
$1,000 bonus is provided to assist with structured online education course
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Work Experience: 0-2 years of independent mammography experience required. Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and certified in mammography. Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
