Medical Assistant
within our orthopedic team, you'll be at the forefront of patient care. You will assist with clinical, administrative, and operational duties, providing support that enhances patient experience and contributes to their recovery journey. From preparing exam rooms and educating patients to scheduling appointments and coordinating surgeries, your role will be essential in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional care.
Essential Functions
Prepare and maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms for patient visits. Collect patient information including medical history and vital statistics. Educate patients on orthopedic care, cast care, traction care, and appliances. Assist physicians with orders, scheduling appointments, and coordinating surgeries. Provide excellent customer service by responding to calls and triaging needs promptly. Maintain organized, efficient patient flow throughout the clinic. Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or administrative role, preferred. Certification in Medical Assisting (CCMA, CMA, RMA, or ROT), preferred
