Job Description: Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Springdale, AR Job Type: Full-time Pay Range: $53.50 - $62.25 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8+ hours/day, normal office hours (6:30 am - 5:30 pm); No holidays, nights, or weekends Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team. The SLP will provide individualized therapy services to patients with speech and language disorders, helping them achieve their communication goals. This role offers a balanced work schedule, fostering both professional growth and work-life harmony. Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluation and Treatment • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations following established guidelines. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs. • Continuously assess progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Documentation and Compliance • Maintain accurate and timely service records, therapy notes, and documentation. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and standard operating procedures. Supervision and Mentorship • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and mentor speech-language pathology students, as needed. Collaboration and Referral • Refer patients for additional clinical services when necessary. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during parent meetings, peer reviews, workshops, and training sessions. Public Engagement and Professionalism • Represent the organization positively in interactions with parents, visitors, and the public. • Stay updated on the latest practices and maintain licensure through continuing education. QualificationsEducation • Master's or Doctorate degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited institution. • Pediatric experience is preferred Licensing and Certification • Current Arkansas state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility during CFY. • Active ASHA membership (or pursuing during CFY). Experience • At least one year of experience in a similar position is preferred but not required. • Pediatric experience is preferred Skills • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. • Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and patient population.
