**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to our dental practice. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist, maintain a clean and organized operatory, handle dental equipment, and interact professionally with patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry principles. - Seat and dismiss patients, ensuring cleanliness in the operatory and dental laboratory with approved disinfectants. - Maintain dental equipment following manufacturer guidelines. - Clean and sterilize dental instruments, take and process radiographs. - Manage inventory of dental supplies. - Perform clerical tasks including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and utilizing computerized patient information systems. - Provide professional and supportive interactions with patients.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma. - Previous experience in a dental office. - Capable of performing physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
**Additional Qualifications Preferred:**
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (e.g., recognized Registered Dental Assistant certification).
**Compensation:**
- Hourly rate: $18.78 - $22.46 for Certified Dental Assistants. - Hourly rate: $17.78 - $21.46 for candidates without certification.
