Friendtown Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
Our Assistants play an integral role in keeping the hospital flowing and providing exceptional patient care.
In this role, you will also work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow to keep procedures on schedule. This role is ideal for detail-oriented Veterinary Assistants who excel in multi-tasking and want to utilize their skills fully.
This is a flexible position open to full time, Monday-Saturday, Sunday on-call shifts are required.
Compensation and full-time benefits: Compensation**:
$15 - $20 per hour, based on hours worked On-call bonus:
$25-$75 per shift + an additional 50 cents per hour Flexible scheduling available:
Mon-Sat, rotating on-call shift Sunday. (Evenings and weekends are a requirement for this position) Bonus packages available:
$500 for VAs with 3 consecutive years of experience Health insurance:

Friendtown Veterinary Clinic is located in the charming community of Tipp City, 12 miles north of Dayton and close to Columbus and Cincinnati. We are a small animal general practice with a fun-loving team and great longevity. Our support team is primarily cross-trained and our technician team is fully utilized (especially our RVTs!) Our clinic itself is located on 20 acres, about 5 miles from downtown and we welcome a diverse client base. Our primary services include reproduction, c-sections, soft tissue surgery, and general wellness, however, we also provide dentistry, cruciate repairs, breeding services, progesterone testing, and more.
