Level III Trauma Center Coastal Living Growth-Driven Expansion
Position Overview:A leading 127-bed Level III Trauma Center located on the beautiful southern coast of Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to practice in a collaborative, low-stress, and engaging environment while serving a regional population of over 320,000.
Key Responsibilities:Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
Perform and interpret EKG, echocardiography (including TEE and stress echo), nuclear cardiology, and Holter/event monitors
Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cardiac conditions
Rotate through outpatient clinic (M F, 8am 5pm) with shared weekend call (Echo reading only)
Participate in cardiac rehab treatment planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Travel periodically to provide outreach services at nearby critical access hospitals
Engage in clinic quality improvement, patient education, and continuing medical education
Average patients per day with strong NP/PA support
Large built-in referral network from primary care and surrounding communities
High-caliber, collegial cardiology team with customized onboarding based on experience
State-of-the-art cardiac diagnostic services
Electronic medical record documentation and compliance with quality reporting standards
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology (Non-Invasive)
Fellowship-trained in Cardiology
Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)
Must reside within the local area or be open to relocation
Must have ties to Oregon (e.g., family in-state or previous residence)
Nuclear and Echo certification highly preferred
Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
