The facility provides comprehensive medical services to Atlantic, Ocean, and Cape May Counties, with a growing academic presence through partnerships with a new medical school and Drexel University.

Job Details:
- High-impact leadership position as Chief of Gastroenterology to build and lead a brand-new academic division
- Lead and develop a new academic GI division focusing on clinical excellence, education, and research
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team including faculty, fellows, and staff
- Expand and enhance advanced GI services, including endoscopy in both inpatient and outpatient care settings
- Serve as a hands-on clinical leader, actively rounding, consulting, and managing complex gastroenterology cases
- Drive strategic growth of the GI service line through collaboration with system leadership
- Shape the program's culture, clinical standards, and educational mission
- Build academic and clinical programs in partnership with a new medical school and Drexel University
- Position requires board certification in Gastroenterology (MD/DO only)
- On-call and weekend responsibilities are part of the schedule
- Experience starting up a program or leadership experience as chief or medical director preferred
- Not open to new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, 1099 contracts, or visa sponsorship
