What you will do:

The

Vascular Technologist II

performs all examination types offered by the practice. Vascular Technologist II indicates that the staff member can work independently at all assigned locations and shifts. Vascular Technologist II is expected to be able to work as the ultrasound technologist for ablations and other vein procedures.

Responsibilities:

Must be proficient in ALL of the following areas of vascular testing:

upper and lower extremity pulse volume recording, including: digital PPG evaluation, treadmill exercise testing, Allen testing, and fistula compression studies

upper and lower extremity venous patency ultrasound

upper and lower extremity vein mapping

ultrasound to evaluate for venous incompetency (venous reflux)

upper and lower extremity native arterial ultrasound

upper and lower extremity peripheral arterial bypass graft ultrasound

upper and lower extremity peripheral arterial stent ultrasound

hemodialysis access ultrasound

extracranial cerebrovascular (carotid) ultrasound

native aorto-iliac arterial ultrasound

aortic bypass graft and aortic endograft ultrasound

IVC-iliac vein ultrasound

iliac vein stent ultrasound

renal artery ultrasound

mesenteric artery ultrasound

hepatoportal ultrasound

What you will need:

ARDMS certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)*

Education, training, and experience in vascular sonography

Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and career long learning (e.g., continuing medical education in vascular technology, obtaining higher education, participation in research, etc.)

Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for patient charting, image acquisition, and report generation

AAS degree required / BS Degree highly preferred

Ability to lift 20 lbs.

*RVS accepted-The Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) credential Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential holds equivalent recognition to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential.

Pay Range

: $34.50 - $48.34

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
